All use of our website exploreconsulting.careers, including all services, media and data available on it, ("Website") is governed by these Terms of Conditions ("T&C") and the following related policies: Our Privacy Policy which sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you or others provide to us. By using our Website, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate. You also warrant that you have obtained the consent of all persons whose personal data you provide to us, for us to use that data to provide you and such other person with the requested product, service or information.

To make it easier for you to navigate these T&C, we have set them out in four sections:





As you can see, some of the terms apply to only Employers (Part B) or Candidates (Part C), and not both. This will be clearly signposted to you, but please be careful to read the terms which apply to you.


1. Information about us

Explore Consulting is a joint venture between ERC Search Limited incorporated in England and Wales under company number 08583110 whose registered office is at Lake House, Market Hill, Royston, Herts, SG8 9JN United Kingdom and Honeycomb PS Ltd incorporated in England and Wales under company number 11375233 whose registered office is at 7 Bell Yard, London WC2A 2JR United Kingdom.

(“We”) are the owners of the following website(s): www.exploreconsulting.careers and associated domains learn.exploreconsulting.careers “website(s)”. This privacy policy applies to all of these website(s) domains owned.

2. What is our site?

We provide an online platform that provides Candidates with: General information about management consulting, specific training and educational services and a job search and application function which therefore connects Candidates with Employers. We also run scheduled networking events, such as careers fairs (online and in-person) from time to time.

When the product is used, interactions on the Website may occur between Candidates and Employers either directly or indirectly after a job application has been made or an introduction through our organised networking events.

You acknowledge that Explore is an agent to any transaction that may take place between a Candidate and an Employer. Our only obligation to you is to make the Website available to you in accordance with these T&C.

3. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

By visiting this Website, whether as a user who is seeking employment opportunities ("Candidate") or as a company that is interested in hiring Candidates ("Employer"), and whether or not you become a registered user of the Website, you agree to be bound by, and abide to, the T&C. If you do not agree with these T&C, then you must immediately stop using the Website.

We reserve the right to change the T&C by posting the new version to this page and, where appropriate, by notifying you of such change via email. You can review the current version of the T&C which apply to your use of the Website at any time on this page.

4. Accessing Explore

In consideration of you agreeing to abide by the terms of the T&C, we hereby grant to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, licence to use Explore on the terms of the T&C.

Access to Explore is permitted on a ‘temporary basis’ and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services or functionality that we provide on Explore without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason Explore is unavailable at any time or for any period, unless access to paid products or services that have been purchased has been affected in which case we commit to reply and resolve at the earliest and reasonable time period; typically within 5 working days.

From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of Explore, or the entire Explore platform, to users who have registered with us. We will use reasonable endeavours to fix issues and bugs in Explore as quickly as we can.

If you choose, or you are provided with, a password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these T&C.

You must not misuse Explore by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to Explore, the server on which Explore is stored or any server, computer or database connected to Explore. If you do so, you will be committing a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will cooperate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, we reserve the right to immediately cease your right to use Explore.

5. Registration: Creating an Account and a Profile

When you access the Website you will have the opportunity to register and create an account ("Account"). To be eligible for Explore you must be at least 18 years old. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to accept or reject your registration to use our Site. If your registration is accepted, you will be allowed to use our Website. Explore has the right to suspend or terminate your Account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Website at any time and for any reason.

In registering for an Account on the Website, you agree: (1) to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself; and (2) to maintain and promptly update the information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your Account. If you provide any content on the Website (via your Account, or via any of your interactions within the Site) that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or Explore has reasonable grounds to suspect that any such content is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Explore has the right to suspend or terminate your Account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Website. You agree not to create an Account using a false identity or information, or on behalf of someone other than yourself. You agree that you shall not have more than one Account. You undertake that your login may only be used by you and a login shared by multiple people is not permitted. You agree not to create an Account or use the Website if you have been previously removed by Explore, or if you have been previously banned from the Website.


6. Obligations and rights of Employers

As an Employer, you may be provided with a function to find and message Candidates through the Platform.

7. Registration – Employer Account and Profile

In order to use Explore as an Employer you must sign and return our Client T&C. Registration and use of the platform to show case your company is currently free and Explore will only levy a fee when the effective introduction of a candidate leads to a hire in accordance with an agreed service and pricing structure. When registering we may ask you for additional information related to your company. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to accept or reject your registration to use our Website. If your registration is accepted, you will be approved to potentially engage with candidates that have an Account on Explore or have registered and attended networking events (digital/online or face-to-face events) organised and hosted by Explore.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

As an Employer, you agree to keep all information gained from Candidates through use of our Website confidential, including information sent by email or other such electronic or written communication. You agree to: (1) treat all Candidate information as confidential information and shall not disclose the names, identities or personal information of any Candidates listed on Explore at any time, outside of your organisation; (2) take appropriate physical, technical and administrative measures to protect content you obtain through use of the Website from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

You agree that for the purposes of applicable data protection legislation including but not limited to the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 ("Data Protection Legislation") you are a data controller of any and all personal data that you collect from Candidates on the Website and that you will process any such personal data submitted by Candidates in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation.

9. Changes in Fees

Registration and appearance on our Website is currently free of charge for Employers. Fees are only due upon successful hiring of Explore Candidates. Explore reserves the right to begin charging for any services that it is currently providing free of charge and in this event we will provide you with at least 2 weeks’ notice of any changes to our fees.


10. Obligations and rights of Candidates

As a Candidate, you have an opportunity to use the Platform to search for jobs and sometimes engage in conversations with Employers to discuss job opportunities and attend online and in-person events from time to time by prior registration. Searching and applying for jobs is free for Candidates on Explore, you simply need to sign up and create an Account.

11. Creating a Candidate Profile

In order to use the Website and apply for jobs as a Candidate you must register and you will be required to take a quiz designed to check eligibility and alignment to our product and service. Registration requires providing us with your name, e-mail address and CV (curriculum vitae) and information pursuant to its contents. You may be asked to provide further information about your employment history, education and other data related to your professional history. For further information as to how we collect, store and process your personal data please refer to our Privacy Policy at the link above.

On our website, you will be able to access our learning resources, explore firms and vacancies and once registered apply for roles and potentially communicate with Employers about live or arising job opportunities.


12. Intellectual property and acceptable use

All Content included on the Website, unless uploaded by Users, is the property of Explore, our affiliates or other relevant third parties. In these terms and conditions, Content means any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software and any other form of information capable of being stored in a computer that appears on or forms part of this Website, including any such content uploaded by Users. By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such Content is protected by copyright, trademarks, database rights and other intellectual property rights. Nothing on this Website shall be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark, logo or service mark displayed on the Website without the owner's prior written permission.

You may, for your own personal, non-commercial use only, do the following: (i) retrieve, display and view the Content on a computer screen (ii) print one copy of the Content. You must not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy, distribute or use for commercial purposes any Content without the written permission of Explore.

13. Prohibited use

You may not use the Website for any of the following purposes: (i) in any way which causes, or may cause, damage to the Website or interferes with any other person's use or enjoyment of the Website; (ii) making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of Content protected by copyright without the permission of the owner; (iii) in any way which is harmful, unlawful, illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening or otherwise objectionable or in breach of any applicable law, regulation, governmental order.

14. Links to other websites

This Website may contain links to other sites. Unless expressly stated, these sites are not under the control of Explore or that of our affiliates.

We assume no responsibility for the content of such Websites and disclaim liability for any and all forms of loss or damage arising out of the use of them.

The inclusion of a link to another site on this Website does not imply any endorsement of the sites themselves or of those in control of them.

15. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these T&C will: (a) limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury resulting from our or your negligence, as applicable; (b) limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) limit or exclude any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law.

We will not be liable to you in respect of any losses arising out of events beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Explore accepts no liability for any of the following: (i) any business losses, such as loss of profits, income, revenue, anticipated savings, business, contracts, goodwill or commercial opportunities; (ii) loss or corruption of any data, database or software; (iii) any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage.

16. General

You may not transfer any of your rights under these T&C to any other person. We may transfer our rights under these T&C where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.

These T&C together with the Privacy Policy contain the whole agreement between the parties relating to its subject matter and supersede all prior discussions, arrangements or agreements that might have taken place in relation to the T&C.

The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to these T&C and no third party will have any right to enforce or rely on any provision of these T&C.

If any court or competent authority finds that any provision of these T&C (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision will, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of these T&C will not be affected.

Unless otherwise agreed, no delay, act or omission by a party in exercising any right or remedy will be deemed a waiver of that, or any other, right or remedy.

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to the law of England and Wales and all disputes arising under the Agreement (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
