Mr. Murthy founded Infosys in 1981. Infosys is, today, a highly-innovative software services global company listed on NYSE in the US and on the Bombay Stock Exchange in Mumbai. Mr. Murthy conceptualized, articulated and implemented the Global Delivery Model (GDM) which has become the backbone of the Indian software industry. Mr. Murthy was elected as a member of the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2019. He is a foreign member of the US National Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering. He received the Founders Medal in 2018, the Hoover medal in 2012 and the Ernst Weber Medal in 2007, all the three from IEEE. He has received Thomas Jefferson medal and James C. Morgan Global Humanitarian Award. Currently, Mr. Murthy serves on the boards of Ford Foundation, the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, New Jersey and the United Nations Foundation.

Salil Parekh, as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, sets and evolves the strategic direction for the company and its portfolio of offerings, while nurturing a strong leadership team to drive its execution. Earlier, Salil was a member of the Group Executive Board at Capgemini, where he held several leadership positions for 25 years. He was responsible for overseeing a business cluster comprising Application Services (North America, UK, Asia), Cloud Infrastructure Services, and Sogeti (Technology & Engineering Services Division). He was responsible for the strategy and execution of these businesses - setting direction and enabling rapid client adoption. He was also the Chairman of Capgemini’s North America Executive Council. He was the architect of the North America growth and turnaround strategy, and was instrumental in setting up their offshoring capabilities.

Mark is Infosys President reporting to the Group CEO. As President, he is part of the Executive Management team at Infosys with the responsibility to represent the firm to clients, Investors, Governments and other stakeholders. His day to day responsibilities in this role are three fold: 1. Direct P&L responsibility for our Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare & Life sciences business. This is over a third of the Infosys Global revenue. He also has responsibility for Infosys' UK & Australia public sector business and for Australia as a region (across verticals). 2. Sales operations, effectiveness, training across the enterprise. This means leading & transforming our 2000+ Sales teams across the globe. He has oversight on Large deals across Infosys and deal advisor relationship management. 3. He is the Chairman of Edgeverve Systems Limited and has responsibility for the Infosys software portfolio which includes banking platform (Finacle)
