These enduring principles lead to outstanding solutions for our clients and lifelong careers for our employees. Our vision is to ensure that our people, clients, and shareholders define and achieve success in a rapidly changing world without boundaries.

Our understanding of public policies, societal trends, and business strategies crosses disciplines as well as borders. Our passion to help solve society’s challenges fuels our ambition to create impactful and transformative solutions. We take pride in tackling climate change, addressing inequality, and inspiring behavior change by engaging customers, citizens, and communities. We work to boost business competitiveness, create thriving communities, and deliver on policy priorities for local and national governments.

ICF plays a central role in advancing public health service around the world. As close collaborators and seasoned experts, we bring both leading-edge skills and a powerful drive to improve public health outcomes for all populations. We leverage our domain expertise across the spectrum of research, evaluation, and implementation of services to maximize the impact of our clients’ programs.

We’re business analysts and policy specialists working alongside digital strategists, data scientists, and creatives, united by a culture that values diversity and opportunity. Since its founding, we quickly grew as a consulting firm, becoming a trusted partner in policy economics and strategy in areas including energy, environment, public health, and economic development. In the late 1980s and early 1990s we continued to grow our consulting business, partnering with clients on complex energy, environment, health, and socioeconomic development issues. In the 1990s and early 2000s, we expanded our consulting services to include program implementation, powering industry-changing projects like ENERGY STAR and Head Start.

We are a purpose driven company with a strong culture and underlying values that prize diversity, opportunity, equality and respect. At ICF, we are not all the same. And that has always been our greatest strength. We are at our best when every member of our team feels respected, included, and heard—when everyone can show up as themselves and do their best work every day. Our purpose statement and values correspond directly with how we view the world as people, not just employees.

We come from different fields. Different backgrounds. Different countries. But our people have this in common: a passion for making a positive impact on the world.
