Jens was co-founder of Efficio in 2000. With over 25 years' of industry and management consulting experience (Efficio, A.T. Kearney and Cowi Engineering Consultants), he has assisted numerous clients with transforming their procurement and supply chain functions and achieving significant improvements. Jens oversees and provides a quality assurance role across procurement transformation programmes for key clients.

Alex Klein co-founded Efficio in 2000 with Melaye Ras-Work, Jens Pedersen and Juraj Priecel. He is a leading authority on structuring cross-border Procurement Transformations and has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. Alex is an expert in structuring and executing pan-European and global Procurement programmes, and has deep functional expertise in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Organisation Redesign.

Roger Siddle has been non-executive Chairman of Efficio since 2016 and has broad leadership experience covering public companies, private equity-backed businesses and partnerships. James delivered client programmes from strategic sourcing through to complex transformations across a wide range of sectors. As director of client delivery, he is responsible for improving the efficiency and quality of Efficio’s client delivery. James specialises in Procurement Transformation, Opportunity Assessments, Strategic and Tactical Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Organisational Redesign, Upskilling and Training. He is also a category expert in strategic sourcing for professional services, HR services and all elements within facilities management and energy (gas, electricity, coal) within Europe and the US.

Melaye co-founded Efficio in 2000 with Alex Klein, Jens Pedersen and Juraj Priecel after beginning her career at A.T. Kearney. She oversees projects spanning several geographies to deliver breakthrough transformations of clients’ procurement and supply chain operations. She also is leading Efficio’s growth in France. Melaye has an MBA from INSEAD, a Double Bachelor in Materials Engineering and Economics from Brown University, USA and an Economics Diploma from the University of Geneva. She is fluent in English, French and her mother tongue of Amharic, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.

Vice President

Juraj has over 24 years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Optimisation, and Operations and Strategy Consulting. Since co-founding Efficio in 2000 with Alex Klein, Jens Pedersen and Melaye Ras-Work, Juraj has led pan-European and global projects to deliver sustainable value for both clients and suppliers. Juraj holds an MSc in Mathematics from Comenius University, Bratislava and has an MBA from INSEAD. Before joining Efficio he worked for two years at Accenture and five years at A.T. Kearney. He is fluent in English, German, Czech and Slovak, and has conversational French and Russian.

Jesper Schade is Vice President with more than 20 years’ experience in Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain. At Efficio, he has played a prominent role in building the firm’s market in the Nordic Region and Germany. Jesper is an expert in scoping the opportunity and laying out a practical, yet aggressive plan that delivers lasting results. Jesper focuses on strategic Procurement Transformation, Supplier Relationships, Supply Chain Optimisation, Organisational Development, and training and professional development. He is fluent in Danish/Scandinavian, English, German and has basic French.

Toby has over 20 years' of experience in operations consulting with a focus on procurement and supply chain optimisation. At Efficio, Toby is responsible for leading the Financial services and Infrastructure sectors, supporting our clients to deliver significant value to the bottom line of their business. Toby works with clients across all aspects of procurement from Sourcing Delivery, Supplier Relationship Management and Value Delivery through to people development, coaching and organisational improvement.

Ian joined Efficio in 2004 from A.T. Kearney, and has led many procurement programmes across key industry sectors. He has a reputation for leading teams in conducting Opportunity Assessments, and Procurement Transformation projects, delivering measurable savings, and embedding essential procurement skills across multiple sites and countries. Ian has a wealth of expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Opportunity Assessments, Procurement Transformation and, Training and Coaching across sectors including Retail, Utilities, Manufacturing, Technology and Private Equity-owned businesses. Ian is an Irish national, and speaks English, Irish and French.

James has worked across a huge range of industries, geographies and clients in the 16 years he has been with Efficio, gaining experience in all elements of procurement and supply chain. James has also been responsible for developing the firm’s world-class Procurement Training Academy, and has taken the lead role in developing Efficio’s eFlow technology offering. James graduated with a BBS from Massey University, New Zealand in 1995 and gained an MA (Hons) in Political Science and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. James is a native English speaker but also possesses basic Maori and Japanese.

Tim joined Efficio in 2006 and is the lead driver of client business in Germany. He not only achieves large savings for companies, but ensures savings are sustainable and embedded in the organisation by negotiating on ‘total cost’ rather than just price – thereby addressing expenditure on a holistic, strategic basis. Tim has particular experience in driving pan-European and global Procurement and Cost Optimisation programmes. Areas of expertise include Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Process Improvement, Strategic Cost Reduction and Procurement Transformation.

Emilio has played a pivotal role in driving global Procurement Transformation programmes since joining Efficio in 2006. His focus on the implementation and sustainability of Sourcing programmes ensures long-term profitability, and he is skilled at delivering results for clients across a broad industry spectrum. Emilio is an expert in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Process Improvement, Procurement Transformation and eSourcing. Emilio studied Business and Economics at the Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi' in Milan. He worked in the Finance and Manufacturing industry for five years before moving into management consulting, which he has pursued for the last 16 years.

Patrick is a recognised leader in Procurement and Supply Chain. He has more than twenty years of experience helping clients across industries to optimise their Procurement and Supply chain performance, and enhance their value to the business. Patrick specialises in Procurement Transformation, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Operational Improvement, Organisational Development and Supplier Performance Management. Patrick holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
