As president of Cerner Global, Emil is responsible for Cerner markets outside of North America including Europe, Middle East, Australia, Asia and Latin America. Emil has served in a variety of international roles over his career since joining Cerner in 1998, spanning Belgium, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Emil worked on teams in the UK before and during the commercial efforts of NHS National Programme for IT (NPfIT), started Cerner Iberia in 2004 (including signing and converting Marina Salud, Cerner’s first HIMSS level 7 client in Europe) and successfully contributed to a variety of European business development activities. After moving to the US in 2009, Emil assumed leadership of the Critical Care and Emergency Department Strategic Business Unit (SBU) where he successfully grew the business each year.

Vice president and general manager, Cerner UK

Distie has played a key role in Cerner’s growth in the UK and in the broader non-U.S. market. In 2008, three years into her Cerner career, Distie moved to London with the aim of establishing and leading the development of direct client engagement. This led to the launch of a client reference programme for Europe and the creation of the Collaboration Centre, a 24,000-square-foot meeting and experience space located in the heart of London, where the Cerner UK offices are based. Prior to her appointment as general manager for the UK, Distie was the senior executive responsible for corporate affairs; client reference and optimisation; marketing and communications; and sales support organisations across Cerner’s existing and emerging markets outside the United States.

Vice president, Population Health

As the vice president of Population Health, Dr Justin Whatling focuses on population health management and clinical transformation for Cerner in Europe. Justin joined Cerner in 2012. He has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. Fifteen of those years have been focused on using technology and informatics to transform outcomes for patients. He worked as a hospital physician in world-leading health centres including King's College Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital and Queen Square National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery. During his time at Cerner, Justin has played a significant role in establishing a formal partnership with Cerner and the University College London.

Victoria is a Snr Learning Strategist - EMEA, APAC, Canadaat Cerner Corporatopon. She is responsible for associate learning & development at Cerner across EMEA, APAC, & Canada. She is a dedicated and passionate L&D professional, responsible for associate education across EMEA, AsiaPac and Canada at Cerner. She is a member of ATD, holding a CPTD certification with area of expertise in Improving Human Performance. She has implemented many learning projects comprising the full learning cycle from analysis through to evaluation. Victoria is a strong team player and coach to learning consultants and learning architects.

The HealtheIntent platform joins up health and care data from disparate sources to provide actionable insights at each level of the health system, empowering individuals together their health and care team with informed recommendations to support health improvement.
